purchased for my daughter, 5 going on 15, who loves to play with all her friends in the neighborhood. now rather than biking home each time she changes her mind about what to do or to ask "can i go play at..." she beeps me! there's a nifty musical note feature that we've labeled as the emergency button like should she fall off her bike & be hurt. then Mommy knows to come right away. it works great! is perfect size for her. she's totally into pink & hello kitty. only wish it was rechargable. have gone thru 24 batteries in less than 2 weeks! so yes... she loves it alot.

I bought these radios for my great-nieces to play with at my house. We took them camping and the 5 year old was able to alert us that the 3 year old was heading to the beach alone. I said, "for real" and she replied, "for reals Auntie"

I jumped up and ran after the 3 year old and sure enough she had wandered down the path heading to the beach.

Not only do they have fun with these radios but for safety reasons they are great.

My 9 year old daughter got these for Christmas this year. They are GREAT! She plays with her sisters in the back yard, and wants me to have one in the house. They easily connect with each other well. Thinking of getting more so the whole family can talk throughout the house. LOL They have really good range, and the neighbor girl two houses over got them too, so we could hear them when they started to use theirs. What a hoot! There are multiple channels, so you can be on your own link. Lots of fun.

I was excited to give my daughter a pair of these Hello Kitty Walkie-Talkies as a present from Santa. However, we ended up with a pair that did not work properly. One would turn on, but not the other. I am now having to return the gift at the store and then reorder on-line again. Not what I wanted for an excited five year old on Christmas morning.

I purchased these for my 6 year old for Christmas. She loves them! She often walks to her grandparent's house about 300 yards away and she carries it to let me know that she's there. It was money well spent.

Just like another reviewer said, on Christmas morning one of these worked, one didn't. Very sad for my little girls. Today I returned them and got another one from the stockroom at my local Target. Got home with the new ones and same thing--one worked, one didn't! Went back and returned the second package and they didn't have any more at our store. Frankly, I am more than put out.

I actually bought these to get a hold of my 13 year old daughter when I needed her or vice versa. She would be in her room as usual and I would be in the living room vacuuming or utility room doing laundry or in the kitchen cooking. I had one and she had the other at all times. It's nice not to have to yell down the hall or upstairs or downstairs. The range on them is great!! We both love them. Even playing on them is a great passtime for Moms and Daughters.
